Beyond Elegance "There Is Life After Retirement"

I want to thank you for logging into my blog.

I have had many people ask me how I got into the linen rental business. So, if I don't bore you too much, let me share with you a little history of how Beyond Elegance by Diana's existence came to be.

First.....it is important to know for those that have worked many long years for a large corporation, sat in those long boring staff meetings for hours upon end, worked long hours and traveled throughout the USA, and dreamed of retiring some day and being your own boss, but on the other hand worried about what they would do if they did retire - that there is "life after retirement" or as I always referred to it "life after GTE". I say GTE because that is who I worked for the majority of my 34 years in the telecommunications industry. GTE eventually was bought out by Verizon (the corporate officers called it a merger) which many of you may be more familiar with.

I retired in 2000 and am one of those Type A (I think that is what they called in back in our managerial training years) people that can't just sit around watching tv - my enjoyment is working. So retirement for myself came with mixed feelings.

Well....as you see (or maybe you can't)...I'm new at blogging and not sure if this blog is time stamped...anyway it's 10:30 p.m. and time to quit for the night. As they say....more to follow.

Chair Covers Make A "Wow" Impact

I have often had many fathers come to pick up chair covers and tell me that they think it is the biggest waste of money for the wedding. However, on their return visit, they are the same fathers that will say "of all the money spent on my daughter's wedding, it was the chair covers that made the biggest difference. And I would do it all over again". They are just awed at how you can transform any room into something that is "Beyond Elegance" by adding chair covers.

A few tips for selecting the right style chair cover for the chair you will be covering.....

1) First and most important.....don't let anyone tell you that the chair you are covering is a "standard" banquet chair. There just isn't such a chair. Normally, you will find banquet chairs that range all the way from 34" to 41" tall. And each one takes a special size chair cover to fit the chair properly.

2) Secondly.....if the chair you are covering is a "folding" chair these also can range in size from approximately 30" to 34". And each one takes a special size chair cover to fit these as well.

3) So how do you know what to order.....The best thing to do is get the measurements of the chair. Measure from the top of the chair to the floor on the back of the chair. Also measure the width of the back at the widest part and from the top of the chair to the seat. Then call us and provide us with the measurements, and we can help you determine what size chair cover you will need.
